Bad Form
So Night Nurse has been on me for not blogging... truth be told, I feel pretty crappy about it. It's not for lack of big things going on, it's more a combo of work, Angel DVDs, my new mafia addiction (thanks alot, Stan), playing with the puppy, and general malaise when it comes to typing. That being said, quick thoughts:
I will one day get my bachelor party thoughts up... they've been halfway done for a while now, just haven't sat down to finish. Of course, it's 2 months later, so I'll forget alot of it... sorry.
The new puppy has been just an absolute blast, she is the epitome of cute. We try and take her out for a daily walk nowadays, she has all her shots, and is enjoying puppy school with a small group on Thursday nights (in fact, going there tonight). And I think the Outlaws' dog Chloe has grown addicted to Loki as well, when they get together (which is nearly every other day), they can go at it for hours.
The wedding is under two months away, so that means it's crunch time to start getting my assignment together, which I hope to finalize over the weekend. The leeway Night Nurse is allowing me with some things is just awesome... I thought my "Imperial" entrance was gonna be the tough sell, but with a possible comic book reading during the ceremony... I may be in geek heaven
Speaking of wedding related stuff, we finally decided on a honeymoon locale last night after 3 hours of discussion (which, admittedly, followed approximately 24 hours of researh on her part). While we originally were thinking Fiji or Tahiti, we ended up finalizing on Sandals - St. Lucia in early January, which should be mighty awesome. All inclusive vacation, that also has a flat screen TV and WiFi so I don't go into withdrawal? Don't get much better.
As I mentioned above, Stan has gotten me addicted to playing Mafia over at the HCRealms site. I'm currently only in his one Transformers one at the moment (and painting a big target on my back while I'm at it), but I think I've signed up for another 5 or so over the next month. The game is addicting, frustrating, annoying, confusing, and oh yeah... fun.
Two words: Go Obama. It was a long battle, but the best candidates are facing eachother... and is it too much to hope for a 48 state sweep by Barack? I'll give McCain Arizona and West Virginia...
Comic book watch: Nova and Guardians of the Galaxy are f'n awesome, especially hot on the heels of Annihiation: Conquest. Adam Warlock is back, bitches!!! Secret Invasion is also shaping up to be a great crossover, especially compared to Bendis last clusterfuck, House of M
I saw Sex and The City. I admit, I actually laughed 4 or 5 times. The flick just goes on *forever* though. 2 Stars
After the genius of Battlestar Galactica (which ends it's season tomorrow night), Hell's Kitchen is my favorite thing on TV right now. Go Petrozza! Boo Jen!!!!

Sweet. I'm gettin excited planning the whole trip way out west. Good to hear about your Imperial entrance. I might be sweating a lot in my Wookiee suit, but it'll be worth it. Galactica is going very well. I like the whole situation that has developed with the Cylons, very cool.
Dude(s), I'm right there with you! Simply amazing finale, and Sci Fi sucks so much ass that that they are holding off the second half of the season for another 6-7 months. Can't believe not a single thing was revealed about Starbuck, but man... that episode kicked ass.
Didn't I say at one point I was never going to watch SciFi again at one point? Maybe when they cancelled Farscape... They have a habit of pissing off loyal viewers.
I was really on edge at the end of the episode, waiting for that other shoe to drop . . . and then it did. Ouch. I can imagine everyone's state of mind when the next season starts and they have to start dealing with what happened.
